Who is who?

I thought Troy and Zada looked a lot a like, but now that I've been looking at Troys old pictures, they are more different then I thought. Can you tell which one is Troy and which one is Zada?

Carey Football

Trevors biggest fans
Last weekend my brother, Trevor, was able to play in the Kibbie Dome for a High School State Championship game! It was great to see my Mom, Aunt, Cousins, and Grandparents. They came up for the game and even stayed a couple of nights with us. Carey beat Kootenai 46 to 12, for the 1A Division 2 Championship. They had an undefeated season. Trevor plays QB, and he had a great game! He was 8-11 passing for 159 yards, 3 TDs-0 int. Trevor also rushed 9 times for 33 yards. Trevor meeting Zada

5 years

Happy 5 year Anniversary, Honey!

Here are some of our stats from the last 5 years:

8 different homes in 5 Idaho towns

4 cars and to Ted's dismay no pick-up truck. . . . yet

2 bachelor degrees and nearly a jurist-doctorate

2 beautiful children

I can't believe I was 19 when I made the best decision I've ever made. Thank you Ted, I love you! Here's to 5 more!

Smile!

I love this tired, gassy smile!

And look everyone, a smile (kind of) from Troy with TWO eyes open! Wow!

6 random things

Marisa tagged me to write 6 random things about me forever ago. It has seriously taken me this long to come up with these silly things!

1. I have to have a made bed to sleep. Even if its making it right before I hop in. (Which doesn't happen anymore, they are made in the morning or it drives me crazy.)

2. I am afraid of heights and spiders.

3. I am not flexible, physically or otherwise. I'm a schedule person and I have to have things planned out. Being spontaneous or going with the flow is very hard for me.

4. I hate having the TV on in the evenings or afternoons. (I've got to have the disney channel in the mornings while I'm getting ready!) I think becuase it makes me feel guilty for neglecting Troy, whether he is watching it or I am. I believe this bothers Ted when he comes home and wants to relax with a TV show or movie, and I say 'Play with Troy!'

5. I don't ever wear lipstick. I can't, it looks funny on me. I'm a lip gloss girl.

6. My favorite scent is the smell of suntan lotion. I love the coconut smell, and would smell like a beach all year if I could.

Allison ask for more pics. . . .

So here are some more pictures of Zada with her eyes open. She is now 10 lbs. 6 oz. and growing!

Troy is doing really well. (If you aren't talking about sleeping through the night. That's another story.) He is actually cute with Zada, tickling her, playing peek-a-boo with her, and giving her kisses. She just has to learn to avoid the footballs being thrown in the living room. Troy is doing really well at entertaining himself too and doesn't seem to mind the extra attention that I have to give Zada. I am so lucky to have such a good boy to make this transition easier.

So one of the benefits of having a big baby, is that I have less weight to lose! At 2 weeks I fit into some of my old jeans and I only have 13 lbs. to go until I'm at my pre-pregnancy weight! Yippee! (This seems amazing to me since with Troy I had 35 lbs. to lose. And yes I eventually got down to pre-pregnancy weight with him too.) Now I just have to get through the holidays :)

Madagascar

We've had a lot of family come up to see us since Zada arrived. Okay maybe not 'a lot' but more then ever before little Zada came. My mom came for a week (Yes, I cried when she left, but I think I'm okay now.) Ted's parents came for about 3 days, and then my brother Lance and his wife Autumn came to see us for about 3 days as well. When Lance and Autumn were here we all went to see Madagascar 2.
Yes, all of us. Troy sat and watched the whole thing. Zada slept through the whole thing. And Ted and I enjoyed being in a movie theater again. It was great to take our whole family to the movies! There are some things I will miss about the sleepy stage of newborns!
