14 things that I LOVE. . . . .

1. Ted

I LOVE my sweet husband. I love how good he is with our kids. I love how he is a kid himself. In fact he tells me quite often- 'I'm just a kid.' (Usually when I'm upset.) I love his silly sense of humor. I love that he gets up with Troy in the middle of the night. I love how easy going he is, but at the same time how hard-working he is. I love that he is patient with me. I love how he will do anything I ask him too. I love that we share the same beliefs and the same goals. I love that he wants to be with me forever. I LOVE that he loves me!
2. Troy

I LOVE my Troy Boy! I LOVE what a good brother he is. I love that he is gentle with his baby sister. I love how Troy will give Zada four good night kisses and Mommy only gets one. I love how tender-hearted he is. I love his imagination and expressions. I love his sense of humor. What a boy! I LOVE that I can kiss his ouchies better. I love that he will throw his arms around me and tell me he loves me. I love how he says 'Good Job Mommy! You did it!' when I accomplish any small thing. I LOVE that he adores his Daddy and wants to be just like him. I love that he says what he thinks. I love that he is mostly potty trained.
3. Zada Mae

I LOVE my Zada Baby. I LOVE Zada's smiles, and giggles. I love that she likes to watch Troy. I love how the first 2 months of her life went by quickly, whoa! I love her cute baby physique, the thick thighs and pot-belly. I love that she has fat rolls on her wrists. I love her big blue eyes, and I love that she hasn't lost her hair! I love putting headbands on her, even though she already pulls them off. I love the way she smells. I love that she will fall asleep in my arms. I love that she sleeps better then Troy. I love that she needs me right now. I LOVE how sweet she is.

4. I LOVE to bake. I would much rather bake cakes, cookies, and breads then make dinner! Unfortunately, I don't practice this love as often as I would like because someones got to eat it and it's usually me! Here's a new favorite from my Taste of Homes cookbook.
brown sugar oat muffins
Ingredients:
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions: In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients. In another small bowl, beat the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Stir into the dry ingredients just until moistened. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full. Bake at 400° for 15-17 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. Yield: 1 dozen.
5. reese's peanut butter cups
I LOVE this candy bar! I just love peanut butter and chocolate together. What a great combo!

6.maternity cami's

I loved these when I was pregnant and I LOVE them just as much now! In fact, I'm wearing one at the moment. I picked up a couple at Target, and I think I may need more. I love how long and comfortable they are. I love that I can bend over and not show anything!

7. Bubble Baths

These are my aromatherapy foam baths from Bath and Body Works. I LOVE a good bubble bath. And by good I mean one that smells like lavender or eucalyptus, and one that I can take without hearing my kids cry. I love how relaxing they are. I love how pampered they make me feel.

8. I love E-mail
I LOVE that I can e-mail most of my family members, even that brother in Brazil. I love that I can just send quick little notes and reply when I have time. I love that it keeps me in touch with people that I wouldn't normally talk to on the phone very often. I love that I can send/receive pictures.
I also love Instant Messenger and texting.
I LOVE that I can bother Ted while he is at school. (Mmmmm, I wonder if he loves it as much as I do?) I LOVE that I can send little reminders to him throughout the day.

9.bumbo
I LOVE Zada's bumbo seat. I love that Zada can sit up and see what is going on around her. I love how light it is so I can move it easily. I love that I got it for nearly half the price that it would have been in a retail store on eBay.

10.Spring

Maybe it's just the horticulture side of me, but I LOVE spring! I love when the snow melts and the flowers and plants come out. I LOVE the smell of potting soil and mulch. I love getting my hands dirty to plant something. Spring actually makes me miss working in a greenhouse. And I love that we can go outside to play!

11.Gift Cards

I know some people think gift cards are impersonal, but I LOVE gift cards. I love being able to shop with someone else's money. I feel rich after Christmas. I think they are the best gift because you always get what you want! No Returns! And they are easy to give too!

12. Sleep
I didn't realize how much I LOVE sleep until I had children. But I LOVE being able to sleep through the night. This doesn't happen very often, especially this week with the colds my family has had. I LOVE when both my kids are in bed, so I can get in my bed! I love our memory foam. I LOVE how comfortable my bed is, and I LOVE spending time in it.

13.My Scentsy Warmer

I LOVE how this makes my home smell! I've had a number of people asked me what I'm baking when they come over. Ha! Nothing! I love it!

14. Cross Stitching

I LOVE how relaxing this is for me. (Wow, is that a theme?) I love finishing a cross stitch to hang on the wall. I love seeing how tons of tiny stitches can make a beautiful picture.

Happy Valentines Day!
