Baby update

So I have 3 weeks left, and I am starting to get uncomfortable. Okay maybe not 'starting to', I am uncomfortable. Although I am not as uncomfortable as I remember being with Troy. I haven't gained as much weight and I am not retaining as much water either. I kind of wish I had taken some pictures of myself when I was pregnant with Troy so I could compare. But I have no pictures. The one that I had I threw away, it made me sick. That is why there are no belly pics on this blog.

I must be getting a little more irritable as I get more uncomfortable. I told Ted the other night that I was tired of being pregnant. He said ' I'm tired of you being pregnant too, honey.' Poor guy. Sleeping is getting hard. Between the bathroom breaks and adjusting the pillows in the right place I never feel like I have enough sleep. I have tried to tell Troy that we are going to be bringing home a baby in a few weeks, but I'm not sure he really understands. I am hopeful that this baby will come early since I am measuring 2 weeks bigger compared to how far along I am. But I will probably go right up to my due date like I did with Troy. So there it is, the complaining of a big pregnant lady.

Also, for those who missed it, it is suppose to be a girl. They didn't get a very good look. I even tried to have another ultrasound 3 or 4 weeks ago and the doctor couldn't see anything. So I will be bringing some pink and little blue to the hospital.

Shaving lesson

Troy had his first shaving lesson the other day. He wants to be just like his daddy!

County Fair

We enjoyed the county fair a few weekends ago. Troy really enjoyed the animals. He loved to pet the rabbits. We also saw the train exhibit, which he also liked. This year he was able to ride the carousal. And is there anything better than a greasy corn dog and cotton candy?

Hillbillies in a Big City

We took a trip to Seattle last weekend. It was really fun. Ted's Uncle lives in that area and hooked us up with a place to stay, food, and circus tickets. We are the kind of bums that will take advantage of relatives!

Our first stop was pikes market place. It was really crowded, but with lots of neat little shops. Troy enjoyed chasing the pigeons. It was quite the eye-opener when we got off the freeway downtown. Wow, we are not used to big cities. Finding a parking spot was a bit of a challenge.

We then went to the Seattle Aquarium. We got to see some neat looking fish, an octopus, and touch some starfish.

On Saturday Troy and I went to the Zoo, while Ted went to the BYU vs. University of Washington football game with Kirk and Michael. It was quite the game. Luckily the Cougs won or Ted would have been in a bad mood the rest of the trip. Troy and I had a good time at the zoo. We saw hippos, gorillas, a tiger, toucans, snakes, and komodo dragons.

That evening we went to the circus with Ted's Uncle Jay and Cousin Stefanie. Troy loved it. He was so fun to watch. He was clapping and bumping his head along with the music. His favorite was the elephants. The next morning he woke up still talking about the elephants.

We finished up our trip with brunch at the Everett Bay with Jay and Suzanne. Troy liked the boats and wanted so badly to go on a ride. It was a great little trip!

This is Troy, exhausted, on our trip home!

Labor Day

For labor day we went fishing at a little reservoir and then had a BBQ with some friends. It was nice to have a three day weekend.

Troy was very interested in his Daddy putting a worm on his hook and the worms in general.

potty training

Do you think we are ready for potty training?
