Christmas

We spent Christmas Eve at my Grandma and Grandpa Stewarts house. This is Denice reading the Kids a Christmas story.

Zada was not a fan of Grandpas moving toy, but Troy warmed up to it.

Christmas Morning was spent at my parents place. Troy got swords, cars, and a tool box. Zada got a stroller, (Which we put together in the dark because the power went out) a toy cash register, and camera.

Zada was not a fan of the sledding Christmas morning. In fact, she wasn't a fan of anything Christmas Day. She was a little grump. I think she was just out of her comfort zone with all the people and treats.

She would have much rather been held by anybody even Uncle Trevor.

Troy, however, couldn't get enough of the sledding. Ted and Trevor took him up to the gravel pit in Carey and he loved it. It took some convincing though because it looked like a volcano to him.

We spent a Christmas night at Larsens where the kids got even more spoiled. Among the presents was a battery powered four wheeler from Uncle Chris. She can actually ride it, but turning is hard.

And Uncle Chris gave Troy a . . .

Paintball gun. Yes, Uncle Chris out did himself. . . again. Seriously.

The kids got bundled up and went for a ride. Again, I'm not so sure Zada was a fan.

And, honey, I just had too.

Oh. Baby.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas Crafts

Troy is at the age where Christmas can be really fun! To drag out the wait until Santa comes I made a magnetic Advent Calender in November. Troy puts an ornament on the tree every day until Christmas! We haven't been the best at remembering everyday, but it has been enjoyable to play with :)
I used an old peanut butter jar to hold the ornaments.
And I finally tackled Christmas socks this year. It was stressful, painful, and awful, but they are done. . . until we have another addition. (No this is not an announcement!)

Next years craft will be somewhere to hang them!

Bowling

We went bowling with the Woods last weekend, just for fun. Both Troy and Zada really liked it, at least for the first 30 minutes. And I believe Zada beat me with her ramp and bumpers. Troy might have too. Bowling is not my strong sport.

After bowling we grabbed dinner at MillHollow. They have yummy sandwiches. It has been forever since we ate there! The last picture is of Troy cuddling up to Gracie while watching some Christmas movies. Or should I say Gracie cuddling up to Troy? He was there first. . .
