On the 4th of July, Ted's dad and Ted decided to go on a day trip up Copper Basin, north of Sun Valley, and 4-wheel into Round Lake. Only they forgot how long of a trip it was. After we were in the truck for 3 hours, we finally made it to the trail. We unloaded the 4-wheelers, had lunch, and drove for another hour into the lake. We finally made it though, as you can see from the pictures. We were so far up by the tree line that there was snow for Troy to play in. So he enjoyed playing with snow on the 4th of July! We were so tired by the time we got back we didn't even stay up for fire works. On the saturday after the 4th we went boating up at Alturas Lake. Thankfully not quite the trip as the day before. We got in the water even though it was freezing! Troy enjoyed the boat, and playing the sand. It is so beautiful up there!
